Early Beginnings
Showalter Construction began in 1986 with a mission to provide quality work that would exceed client expectations and create a reputation built on trust.
Showalter originated from rather humble beginnings. Owner and founder Carl Showalter began pouring small concrete jobs with rented equipment but by the end of his first year the business had grown to three employees. Showalter branched out into sitework preparation, adding equipment and expertise with each new project.

Over 30 years later, Showalter Construction now employs more than 100 experienced workers and operate multiple crews throughout the Carolinas.
More important than the company size, however, is the experience that has been gained through the years. Handling complex projects and working across every aspect of the sitework industry, Showalter knows the field inside and out and draws from his accumulated knowledge to eliminate stress and provide cost savings to clients. The principle of keeping it simple and building a reputation through steady growth and attentiveness to the bottom line are the foundations of Showalter’s continued success and the key that keeps their customers returning time and time again.
